ICT
ICT forms part of the core curriculum from primary school through to GCSE. In Keystage 3 it takes the form of learning to use word processing, graphics, presentation and database tools. At GCSE there are various syllabi which range from the uses of ICT in business and commerce through to basics of design of systems. A-level courses follow a similar pattern.
Many courses incorporate practical project-based work. We do not ‘do’ coursework for any student. We are able to give guidance and support, and have access to most major development software that students might expect to use.
Keystage 3
We can support all topics through Keystage 3.
GCSE
We are able to support all aspects of the business systems analysis and design, as well as the technology topics. We can also support the business studies aspects of these courses.
A-level
As with GCSE we support the business systems analysis and design and hardware aspects of the various courses.
